Day 35 of 100 Days of Gratitude

Sunday, April 16, 2017

Since I don't have grandchildren, I took a risk and started a subtle, teeny-tiny game of "peek-a-boo" with a preschooler sitting nearby at a cafe. I was dining alone and he was with his large family. His language was different, but our pleasure at "peek-a-booing" was the exactly the same!

He responded at first very coyly, then more bravely and eventually, he added audio to the game and was a T-Rex (his grandma tipped me off) and I was a "terrified" spectator at the T-Rex circus (or whatever...).

His family of parents, grandparents, sisters and brother and I were all involved and laughing like little kids. I was grateful to be part of the family & a pseudo-Grammie for a few minutes!
