The Big Tire
Thursday, April 13, 2017
If you've been around me for awhile, you know I kinda love flipping tires. See:
I feel like an utter badass (the one above was a fitness challenge so was far from the biggest tire I've ever tackled). I feel strong. I feel powerful.
Today, Jake rolled out the two big tires for class and I got all excited. But he put them right next to each other in the far corner of the room. Weird. Turned out we weren't flipping tires, but doing step-ups on them.
One tire is a little bigger than the other. Flat on the ground I'd say maybe a 2-3" difference between the two. I'm 5'2". 2-3" makes a big difference. As I approached the back of the room, Jake said "HEY I SAVED YOU A SPOT RIGHT HERE!"
At the bigger one.
Then yelled at me to go faster. LEFT! RiGHT! LEFT! RIGHT! HURRY UP! CHRIS IS GOING FASTER THAN YOU ARE!
Chris is 6 feet tall. Shut up, Jake! :) Let me tell you, it's a big step for a short legged person. But I did it! And guess what? I still felt like a badass.
