Hello Everyone,

Thank you for responding to my last blog. As you can tell, I am not doing too well reaching my goal of blogging every day. Not much really goes on in my life other than my sons, my cats, and my work. My sons are both grown with my oldest living in his own home. My youngest son lives here, but about all I can share about him is that each of his days go "Fine." So they don't provide me with much to talk about. My 6 cats don't say much either. emoticon They mostly just like to eat and sleep. They did get very curious about the two light bulbs that broke when I dropped them in the middle of the kitchen floor.

My job is busy, and the hours are long, but I love it, so I can't complain about that. There were two Easter Egg hunts at the Y today. One was outside, and another was in the pool. It took 75 kids only about 3 minutes to gather up the 300 eggs that were spread around the Y's soccer field. It took a little longer than that in the pool because the kids had to chase after the eggs. Anyway, both 'hunts' were a lot of fun for the kids.

Most of our days are really nice now that it is spring. Of course that means the frogs are out, and that keeps me on 'pins and needles' when I have to go outside at night. Neither of my vehicles are parked in the garage because I got a new couch recently and my old one was moved to the garage. It was extremely heavy, and that is as far as it got. That was about a month ago, and that is where it remains. and will continue to remain until I can get help loading it into the truck to take to the dump. So, coming or going at night, I have to be outside. I have no fear that someone will attack me, but I sure have a fear that I will see a FROG!!!!!! Even worse, a fear that one will get into the garage when I open the garage door. Gives me the 'heebie jeebies!'

My guy who cuts my grass has not surfaced recently, and I hate to bother him because he works a full time job, and also he and his wife have adopted two small children. I don't want to take him away from his family, although he says to 'Call him anytime I need anything.' Soon, I am definitely going to need this grass cut.

I am out of here for now. Have a wonderful weekend.

You life sounds great to me. Productive and interesting without a lot of drama. You gotta love an Easter Egg Hunt!! And 6 cats! I had no idea you were afraid of frogs. That is so funny. I hate snakes and am not found of spiders and stinging insects. I hope you get the grass cut soon.

Part of this journey is learning what works. With all you have going on and as much as I enjoy reading your blogs, maybe a more realistic goal is to blog 3 times a week. That way you don't feel guilty about not blogging every day and we still get to keep up with your busy, busy life.

By the way, the pool egg hunt sounds like a blast. I would have loved it as a kid and even as an adult! emoticon

Hi Pam, Read your Blog this morning and was encouraged to send you a comment. I can relate to needing help at times to get things done but mostly I was encouraged to hear that you are trying to Blog everyday. That is a big endeavor.
Your grass cutter really wants to help you, even with a family. I've learned to accept help when it is offered. If he didn't want to help, he wouldn't have offered.
When do you exercise? I am kind of new to Sparkpeople in the sense of getting around. I usually just record my eating.
    Keep up the good work!
