My Fitbit bracelet

I am an earrings girl. Earrings are my favourite piece of jewellery. I have a lot of them. They represent my mood and my inspiration of the day. I rarely wear a necklace or a bracelet, although I have a few. I don't have a watch.
And so, when I first got a Fitbit to track my activity level, it felt uncomfortable on my arm. I wore it loose to appease the discomfort.
But the positive side was that I started getting interested in tracking my activity, as much as I did for food intake. And so, for the first time in my life, walking and exercise became important to me. Never too late, I guess, even if I am 59 years old.
Now, I love my Fitbit. I put it on, first thing in the morning. The benefits have outweigh the discomfort around my arm.
At night, if I realise that I am missing some steps for my 10,000 steps per day challenge, I go for a walk around the block or even inside, if it is pouring outside. Every hour, it incites me to go for a small walk (250 steps for 9 hours of the day). It encourages me to do exercise for a minimum of 10 minutes a day. It congratulates me if I succeed in my challenges and even puts on fireworks or sends a rocket as a motivator, when I reach my 10,000 steps.
I really love my Fitbit.
It has become essential to my goal of loosing 60 pounds, just as the SparkPeolpe site is.
