Back At It (Again)

I knew Chicago would be tough on the scale, and sure enough I came home 5 pounds heavier. It's amazing how easy it is to gain weight. Three of them came off pretty much right away so water/travel/whatever.

But, I'm still up 2ish pounds, which may not sound like a ton, but that's basically a month's worth of work for me. I'm determined to get it done, of course, and am hoping it'll be faster than another whole month.

Getting back into the swing of things is always so hard. I'm back to meal planning and portion control and all the good things I do, but after ~10 days of way too many calories I'm finding myself just ... hungry. Last night I was on track but ate dinner at like 6PM because I was staaaaaarving and then by 7:30 I was staaaaarving again so had an unplanned (but ultimately tracked) snack putting me over on calories.

It's an adjustment and I'll get back to it. I'm home a solid month so consistency is key. I got this.
