About time! About Me! Doing a turnabout!

Tuesday, April 04, 2017

So its been awhile since I have written. A lot has happened over the past year. I got married, moved to GA and changed roles once again in my company. Its been a great ride so far except the pounds that I lost in 2014 have since been creeping back up on me. Since Dec 12 2016 I've taken steps to eliminate them. I tried the Trainer Lindsey 15 day challenge. It was good but of course I didn't stick with it. You know with it being Christmas and all. I did have a few healthy takeaways. I now drink my coffee black instead of a ton(more creamer than coffee) creamer in my coffee. I tried to eliminate sugars-still working on that. I learned a lot about macronutrients.(still) All in all I may attempt again. BUT for now I'm working on me at my own pace. My hubby and I joined Planet Fitness(we don't go together) and I've been doing good going all last week. If I didn't go I did find other activities to make me feel like I'm working on it. My mind is now on the right track as well. I've increased my water intake by like 100%..coffee was all I drank. And of course portion control and healthier diet is in play. I feel better so far. I also walk on my lunches at work (1mi or so). I have been on my spark app everyday for 9 days I log all food and exercise when I'm doing or eating. "Every little step I take" hehe..

Some of the benefits of all this so far:
I have lost about 7lbs
My face looks thinner
My brain is focusing on the healthier therefore I crave it and feel bad when I haven't given to myself.

I am taking this one day at time, one step at a time..
