Wow. It's just crazy, odd, spooky--- like waking up or looking up and it always being 11 after the hour. Or always waking up at 3:59am (which has been happening to me for a while now too).
Sometimes I have to weigh objects on my scale just to be sure that the dang thing isn't stuck to that number. I have blipped up. A couple of times I have blipped down. And.... (this being throughout many many months of On again Off again "dieting")

THIS IS NOT A DIET. THIS IS A Lifestyle.
Steady Intention Gets This Done.
Yes - to lose weight I have to turn up the FLAME -- and the nurturing too emoticon emoticon

I TRACKED EVERY DAY LAST WEEK!
I made, for the most part, good choices last week.
I prepared my environment and "set myself up for success"
Rinse Repeat.

are real)

WW doesn't "count" fruit. I still wonder if I need to. emoticon vs emoticon emoticon
I could drink more water. emoticon
And....
Yep....
You know it, you love it.....

Not a marathon - not something too steep for my gumption
I just read a WW Connect share with someone having success with 4x week 40 minutes of walking or cardio.

I CAN DO THAT
I read that and it felt absolutely do-able.

My "willingness" has been waay low. Fine. Fine.

* Pilates 2x week -- for structural imprinting (to enable more movement and prevent constant injuries)
* Beginning Tennis on Wednesdays for 6 weeks. P L A Y. emoticon emoticon Play WITH OTHERS
* ordered swim fins.... laps possible?
* found new elliptical/stair with best cadence for my frame size. -- DO IT 2-3 x week?

I almost added a bunch of other options

I've been (my M.O. per usual) overwhelming myself with the options for movement and then crapping out and not choosing. Lots of classes at the gym. I'm more attracted to the stretch stuff even though I would LOVE to be capable of the sweaty ones like: Spin Class? Fusion Dance? Body Pump ??

So here's my strategy: If I happen to wander into a Spin or Fusion or Body Pump, fine.
BUT

GOAL FOR THIS WEEK - hit that elliptical machine 2x or more. 40 minutes.
plus tennis and pilates.

Those other options.... open but not mandated. I will be goal successful by
* Keep up the tracking
* Water
* Prepared for success in the home
* Connect and Attitude
* NSVs
* 2x Elliptical and Tennis Wednesday. -- and anything else is gravy

That scale "set point" IS GOING TO MOVE. IT IS. STAY WITH IT.
