Oh Brother!

Friday, March 31, 2017

I am writing this one to vent.

Of course, I am flawless, LOL, and have done what I could to make sure my kid brother was treated fairly. I could only do so much and there were times that life threw him curve balls.

Over time he (and the wives he chooses) have accepted a victim stance and exaggerate slights and raw deals. So as I attempt to straighten out the affairs of older brother (deceased) and deal with his belongings, kid bro is sneaking useful items when he has access. He is not fooling anyone, and if he asked, we would agree to let him have them. He is "too busy" to go through other items in his possession but when I offered to drive up and help him, he did not answer my call but e-mailed that he would not be home. No offer of another date that would work.

Since some of what he has is paperwork, I had to go to the DMV to get a duplicate title to sign over to him for the car he did ask for. He was "too busy" to look for the original. I either offended him some way or he has decided he can't trust me or he thinks I am pressuring him...Whatever, I suspect this is a non-relationship with not much in the way of a future. I am losing both respect and sympathy for this man.

But that is just how I feel today. I remind myself not to be rash and do something I will regret. Tomorrow is another day and maybe he is just tired. Thanks for listening. Hope I didn't ramble too much.

Hoping that things will look brighter tomorrow. Get some rest and try not to stress over it.
