Today’s Job # 1 –
I have been making a few changes in my house and before it could get better, it sort of had a "tornado blew through it" look. So my job today is to clean up and put things back in place.

Today’s Job #2 –
Plan & write out week’s meals
Prep meals for Day 1, Saturday

Soul Searching
I have started a new diet, exercise, whatever so many times and yet I’m still not where I want to be. I end up quitting or cheating and giving up. I can do this. There is nothing and no one stopping me except myself. I have the time, money, and physical health to change so I better do it while I can.

I have found that in my time at Spark I have developed many healthy habits. There are things I once could not imagine doing that I am doing now. You'll get there. Keep pushing.

Good luck with your new diet and exercise. My husband and I are also in the process of soul searching, making changes, and experimenting with what will work. It's good to keep things new. I need to do the same with my house ... so far putting if off, though. emoticon

emoticon Baby steps always work best for me rather than doing drastic changes whether in learning a new habit or changing how I eat. Every time I've tried to make a big dramatic change I end up failing as I can't keep with it!

Each diet I worked through, successfully or unsuccessfully, was full of lessons learned. You are walking toward a goal of good health and occasionally the path dips a bit or a lot. You can do this. You've done it before. You are in better shape than you would be if you had never tried anything. Those diets didn't fail. You didn't fail. They just didn't last.
Remember what worked for you. Add it to the new stuff on SP. Learn as much as you can. Find as much motivation as you can from every source you can. If the plan this time gets you in better shape in any way, if you can keep at it longer, be more at home in your own body--that's worth it. You are worth it.
