The Fitness Challenge

Jake sent me the regular workouts for class all this week, but today's was lots of suicides and some partner stuff, neither of which was possible in the hotel gym. So I went back to Tom's tried and true 5-4-3-2-1 Fitness Challenge

500 Jumping Jacks
400 Squats
300 Push-ups
200 Sit-ups
100 Burpees

You're supposed to do it in about 50 minutes. Normally in class I don't quite finish but I wasn't time constrained today so i did the WHOLE THING in right about one hour.

You can do the exercises in any order/number you want, and since I know I SUUUUUUUUUUCK at push-ups and sit-ups, I opted to do lots of those first. Basically i did push-ups, sit-ups, push-ups, sit-ups, push-ups, sit-ups, then five sets of the whole workout as listed. That let me do 25/30 of the things I hate instead of 60/40 at a time.

As an added bonus, I saw a former coworker today who I haven't seen in probably 6 months, and I got, "wow! hi. You look ... wow. Hi." hahaha awkward geeks are the best.
