2017 Spring 5% Challenge Exercise Commitment

I have been thinking of changing my form of exercise over the last few weeks. I didn't listen to my body and as a result of pushing myself too hard, I developed tendonitis in my left knee. It forced me to stop walking every day. I lost my exercise streak of 415 days that I had going. My knee is finally getting to the point of allowing me to walk with minimal pain as long as I walk slowly. Due to my hypothyroid, I need to exercise to lose weight. I want to lose weight, so I have to come up with a new exercise plan. I am committing to using the Sparkpeople TV videos to get my exercise streak going again. I need to start at the beginning. I will look for chair exercises to build strength and stamina. As I am able, I will eventually return to walking as my main form of exercising.
Cardio will be to walk 10 minutes Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. I will do 10 minutes of strength training on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
I will add 5 minutes a day every other week.
By the eighth and final week of the challenge I commit to completing 30 minutes of exercise.six days a week and 10 minutes on Saturdays..
