Slip sliding

I haven't been to the gym in over two weeks. Not because of no motivation. I came down with a bad cold. While I was battling that, my older brother-only 54 years old, suffered a stroke. I wasn't able to see in the hospital for a week. Now that I am able to, that has been where my time has been spent. Instead of going to the gym after work, I go to the hospital to keep his spirits up. He will be there for a few more weeks. I am just so thankful it didn't turn out with a different ending for our family. He has come a long way in a short time. He has full use of his left arm again (his writing hand), and is working on the leg. He cant support himself walking, but he is able to lift it. I am trying to get back to working out, starting with riding my recumbent at home, until I am able to get to the gym again. If my brother can ride on a bike at the hospital for five minutes, surely I can do it at home until he is better and home.
