And boy am I happy about that! It's going to be a slower morning at work today so I'm in my office cleaning up my desk. I'm almost ready to file my income taxes, I should have that done by the middle of next week, hopefully sooner!!

Yesterday was not such a great day. I ended up chowing down a piece of carrot cake, I didn't even savor it, I just shoved it in. Went home, had a few glasses of wine and made roasted cauliflower for supper. I did get a good night of sleep so I'm awake this morning. The girls come in at noon so I'm going to go home and take a little nap. My daughter goes back to her dad's tonight, is it bad that I'm looking forward to that? I love her to death but I need a break after this past two weeks. Especially after her attitude towards me yesterday.

She's not turning in her homework, we've been struggling all year long. We managed to get her to pass all but one class this last quarter, the new quarter just started on Monday. I've been telling her that if she's not going to turn her work in, she won't be doing anything. She wanted to hang out with her boyfriend today but she's missing three assignments. She had a real bad attitude yesterday afternoon. I think part of it is because she has to go to her dad's for the weekend but she was awful.

I made my step bet yesterday. I was running around the house like a mad person to make it, but I did it. I didn't get my stretch goal but I'll hit that today or tomorrow. This bet has been good for my house, I've been making a point to clean more when I get home... Mainly because I want to hit my step goals for the day.

I hope everyone has a good Friday!!! I have 5 more hours of work for today, two tomorrow and I'm going to enjoy some ME time!!!!

Poor daughter..it's tough enough being a teenager but she's acting out because she's unhappy. My prayers are with you!
