20 minutes

Thursday, March 23, 2017

It is true, it takes the stomach 20 minutes to realize that it is full.

What I have done and still do, is have a timer by my food and set it for 20 minutes. I tend to eat too fast and can eat and eat and never get full. This system really works for me. I am the type of person that never feels full or can taste the foods. I could eat a large pizza all by myself, but now with the timer, I find that I cannot do that anymore and that is a good thing.

ooooooo I like that idea. I too am guilty of doing the same thing. Maybe because I always have too much on my plate (no pun intended) and am always flying by the seat of my pants. I will try to do better. Thanks Bev.

Wonderful idea, I am guilty of the same, if I do not mindfully eat, I tend to "hoo emoticon ver" my food.
