I worked out today

This might not seem like much of an achievement but for me, at this time in my life, it is. I went to the mall and walked for 30 minutes because it was too cold to walk outside. It feels really good. I took the time to do intentional exercise and to focus on my health, and I'm going to keep this pattern going.
I've been in a dark place the last few months and I'm digging my way out of it slowly. One step at a time.
I had lemon juice in my water at breakfast and it helped me feel really good. I think I should do this every morning again.
I am cooking dinner for my family again today -- chicken breasts stuffed with cream cheese and spinach, baked potatoes and broccoli. I'll only eat half a potato again and make sure to watch my portions on the chicken.
I'm really proud of myself and I can't wait to be back in Columbus next week, and to test out the new gym with my friend. It's been a long time since I felt this hopeful.
