Day 23 of 100 Days of Gratitude

Thursday, March 16, 2017

I didn't blog yesterday because it was a hard day to be grateful. We discovered that DH's bike had been stolen the night before. We're on a trip that is highly dedicated to biking.

But today, I'm grateful that my bike wasn't stolen, too. They were chained together and to a bike rack. The thief cut a very thick, strong cable lock and took the most valuable bike.

I'm grateful that we're only replacing one bike. There isn't a safe place to store them and we're too old to haul them up a steep flight of stairs to our lodging. We're find a way.

Oh, that sucks! But at least you have ONE bike. I hope you can find another or recover the stolen one.

emoticon so sorry to hear that. They took the bike but they couldn't take your joy or your love of riding.

It is awful that someone felt that he could just take what is clearly NOT his....sad commentary on our society!
