Accepting compliments

Tuesday, March 14, 2017

Why is it so hard to accept a compliment? People are complimentary about my loss and all it feels like is an insult. Maybe it's because all I can still see is me from when I started. I try to tell my hubby that I have an issue, but he thinks I'm silly... I'm grateful for the loss, but still see the weight I still need to lose. Anyone else have this issue?

Many people I was in contact with never noticed until I had lost over 50 lbs, guess baggy scrubs hide a lot. I did not discuss my weight loose with anyone, not my way, so some people asked me if I had been sick lol. Compliments are always hard to accept, the best way is to thank them and compliment them back, takes the heat off you!

Just say thank you, and don't over think this.
