Hope you are all well. The time change is kicking my butt.
I awoke to find that my IT band overuse injury has apparently spread to the other leg. :-( It doesn't have the same excruciating pain, but it's very sore to touch. I'm now trying to put together my own home remedy routine since I only see the physical therapist twice a week. They are reluctant to treat my leg because my main focus there is supposed to be neck/mid back/sacroiliac injury and I just can't afford a copay the 4 times I week they want me to go, thus everything seems to be taking forever to heal. So, home it is.
I had to go back to the doc because they wouldn't refill my meds without talking to one. She gave me motrin for the injury and said to take 800 mg 3x/day for 10 days to get rid of all inflammation for the injuries. So, we will see. I'm on day one.
Today, I started off great! I'm having a salad for bf. I massaged and iced both IT bands. I'm about to stretch. I'm trying to write up a meal plan that also declutters my pantry. I've had third of my water and remembered to take my bp med.
I start work on Wed. I'm dreading it. I both like and dislike this job. But I need to do it. But, since my day time will no longer be my own I will have to meal plan. I won't have time to cook, barely to garden, or do things around the house. I have to come up with a way the everything will flow. I'm going to get a little exercise by hanging out a load of laundry in the wee hours of the morning before taking ds to school, and after work rushing to fold it and hang another.
I'm going to try to "automate" all but dinner as much as possible.
Have a wonderful day!
