Time to start anew

Last week was so terrible for any manner of fitness or diet... I didn't get a chance to record much, and to be honest I don't think I'd have wanted to. Saturday was interesting... I ate pretty much nothing but junk food all day. It made me feel drunk... not the feeling good drunk, but the dizzy, nauseated, sickly drunk. Probably had a lot to do with not having any -substance- to what I ate that day... but my body pretty much rejected it all.

Went to a friend's house for a pool party. When we all get together near water, chicken-fights are inevitable. I got recruited because Stacey's husband wasn't up to the challenge (bad back). Stacey is a gorgeous girl, great body, and weighs practically nothing. (She gave me some good compliments on my progress, which felt really good). The fight got pretty vicious, and I ended up hurting my neck. Now my shoulders and neck hurt so much I can hardly sleep. And today's the day I start my new fitness program, fun.

So this is some deal I found on Men's Health called the TNT diet. It has a workout routine and a diet plan, blah blah blah. Unfortunately, it's a very low-carb diet for the most part. I just found out this morning that my breakfast of choice (Carnation Instant Breakfast) is pretty high in carbs. And my protein shake mix has quite a bit, too... which means I don't get to cheat because I'll already be cheating! Bah. I need to find something else quick and easy for breakfast.
