Everybodies working for the Weekend

Friday, March 03, 2017

I really don't work that much, 15-20 hours a week and my job is really pretty easy for me, however I still like it when Friday comes and I have a full day the next day for me.
It's supposed to hit the upper 40's tomorrow which is warm in March in ND. I hope we are going hiking around a dam east of town for a while.
Also hope I get some work done in my rather scary basement.
It's amazing how good an unfilled block of time can feel.
What fills your "spare" time.
I fill mine with knitting and other crafts, cooking and pottering with plants besides exercise

Today I filled my time with cleaning things that don't get cleaned much. It seems like a good thing.

As I was booted from my 18-year job recently I have plenty of "spare" time. If it is fiber, I am all over it. As soon as two museums open for the season (April-October) I will be offering a few days a month as demonstrator in the loom house for one and weaving on a 200 year old loom at the other (the photo on my page). I am still finding my way with my time but walking fits in every day (almost).

I'm another knitter and crocheted. I also volunteer as an editor for a book charity which I love doing.
