Streets level has been extremely high for the past one plus years. Husband has been in and out of the hospital many times - 4 times in last 4 months. His health is not good and mine isn't much better. Husband has been dealing with lots of kidney and lung problems. He's had many surgeries for very large kidney stones in both kidneys. We have both had pneumonia within the last 4 months - husband 4 times in 4 months and myself 1 time in 3 months but also had the flu the same time as the pneumonia. My lungs have gotten worse (COPD/Emphysema). Husband still has some surgeries to go for his kidney but has to strengthen his lungs (COPD/Asthma) in order to survive the surgery which will take 2-3 hours to remove a stricture in his ureter and then to figure out a way to re-attach the ureter. Urologist has come up with about 4 different ways to do the surgery but if the ureter/kidney starts to leak or finds out there's not a suitable way of re-attaching the ureter, then he will have to remove his left kidney. There are other stressors but none of them are as great as his health. So, we are both walking to try to strengthen our lungs.
I have decided to join the team for stress to help me deal with all the stress that we have had. I joined the team today and have begun the process of distressing myself.
