I am learning not to beat myself up for failures. Instead, I need to look at failures as a learning experience. After 7 weeks of losing weight slowly and steadily, I gained a little weight. You see, I entered that cocky stage in a life plan. I got this, I thought. I still tracked every morsel I ate, however, I was not as diligent on the exercise. So it's time to rethink what I was doing. What worked, and what didn't.

Today is a new day and aside from a bit of a cold, I feel great. I want to continue to feel great and I want to fit into my summer clothes. I will persevere. I'm worth it.

The picture I selected is the start of a local trail. Last fall, the hub's and I would hike once a week. I'd always take photos of the beginning of the trails.
