Making it to the weekend was an accomplishment this week. I love my work and it brings me satisfaction but it is a challenging environment. I know this is true for many of us.... Finding ways to reduce stres without resorting to overeating is key. I slipped a bit this week but got back on track by getting myself focused on my goals, by appreciating the positive aspects, problem solving on the negative and being sure to enjoy the parts of my life that aren't work.
And now it's the weekend - hurray! Ready to enjoy what I'm hoping will be beautiful weather.... A walk and a run, getting my hair done and a field trip to Virginia.... And that's just today!
I'm remembering to use my Beck skills, planning tracking, giving myself credit, using my checklist, and all the other things. And very much focused on enriching my life! Hope to start to get my studio set up tomorrow (after a good run!)
Life is good and I am full of gratitude.
