Choices, choices, choices...

Today I was faced with a very big and high calorie luncheon. I've been losing slow and steady and I really didn't want any setbacks. I cased the selection of food, chose 2 salads, some chicken, and roasted veggies. I also grabbed half a turkey sandwich. While my plate wasn't overflowing, I had enough food. Of course there was dessert. I took a drinking cup - about 8 oz- and filled it halfway with fruit salad. I allowed myself a small, one bite treat, and another slightly larger one. I logged everything mentally and when I came home I logged the food into SP. I am still in my lose weight zone. To ensure that I'd stay within my limits, I even pre- logged dinner. So it is possible to survive a buffet with careful planning and logging. In my previous diet escapades, I would never have been able to stay in control. I am proud that I can do it.
