Celebrating A Middle Two!!
Wednesday, February 15, 2017
Thanks, everyone, for my recent blog award. BrooklynBorn has done a great thing to promote the blogs of maintainers here on SparkPeople. Appreciate being highlighted and I appreciate being directed to quality blogs, many dealing with maintenance, daily.
Today I'm celebrating! For the second day in a row I saw a middle "2" on the scale. Not a fluke. It's real. It's just 129.8 two days in a row but that is a weight in the 120's. WooHoo! It's the first time I've seen a middle 2 since July 2016. So, for me that is significant. Here's my weight graph for the last year:
I wish I had a great chart of my weight journey, but to put it in some kind of perspective, here is my lowest monthly Weight Watcher weigh-ins that I have from 1982 to 2014, with the top weight here being 205. My highest weigh-in ever was 212. (Don't have this file any more to update. Darn. Yes, I should recreate it.) Please imagine 2+ years more of fluctuating 125-135 with two blips over 140 pounds in October and December 2016.
So today is for celebrating!
Time to give more thought about that achievable vs. maintainable weight. I didn't really quite finish blogging Beck pink (The Beck Diet Solution) and that is one chapter I read but it still hasn't settled into my brain. But, just for today, I'm celebrating. Then I'll think about how hard I'm willing to work to keep it and whether I'm willing to work to bring it down even further.
