I'm pretty stoked. I don't know how long I can maintain my enthusiasm though. LOL.
I am participating in a 16 week weight loss challenge that is hosted by a local family gym. My sister signed up last night at her gym and I felt compelled to do it. I'm totally doing it for me but I'm also doing it for her. She has hated herself for too long. She hates being in her own skin and I know she needs this.
Plus there was a young man who showed some likeness toward her, only to blow her off on Valentine's Day. Geez! I hate dating today. Its a jungle! She deserves better!
She has no experience in the gym but a coach is supposed to be there to show her a routine and some exercises and we were all sent home with food options. I'm ready to jump in. I'll be doing it along with my Kettlebell training which I still do twice a week. My next KB goal is 20 sets (5 sets 10, 1 set of 11 to 20 counting up by one which is 10 sets total and 5 more sets of 20 is my next level up goal.
I was so disappointed he did that to her. He really acted like he liked her. Ugh!
Anyway, I'm going to check in with her three days a week. We're going to share pics and everything. At the end of the 16 weeks we should see some significant changes I hope.
