Recently, I have been working on a "digital" hiking journal. I thought to keep track of things it would be nice to document the various hikes I am (and will be) doing with the hiking club. While I was working on the journal, I also added info and pictures on other past hikes I have done. When I was working full time, I really didn't do much in the way of hiking which I now regret. I wish I would have made it more of a priority. It really is a wonderful uplifting way to spend time and gives you such an appreciation for nature. Hiking really feeds the soul. Awesome! I wholeheartedly agree! Hiking nurtures body, mind and spirit. We live next to a wilderness park and go out into it most days. Like your journal! I'm addicted to hiking. But aside from noting where and sometimes mileage in my calendar, I don't spend much time reviewing them. Nice that some people do!! 1267 days ago
That is so cool! I love that idea. I took a peek - great pics and journal. Not only is it good for you, but it is helpful to others. There is a hiking club in Maine that has a hiking report published in the local paper, that is very helpful to read to see if you want to do that particular hike. I, also, like hiking.
