Hiking Journal makes for fun memories

Recently, I have been working on a "digital" hiking journal. I thought to keep track of things it would be nice to document the various hikes I am (and will be) doing with the hiking club. While I was working on the journal, I also added info and pictures on other past hikes I have done. When I was working full time, I really didn't do much in the way of hiking which I now regret. I wish I would have made it more of a priority. It really is a wonderful uplifting way to spend time and gives you such an appreciation for nature. Hiking really feeds the soul.     We live next to a wilderness park and go out into it most days. Wonderful to take a break in the middle of the day and then come back refreshed.

    That is so cool! I love that idea. I took a peek - great pics and journal. Not only is it good for you, but it is helpful to others. There is a hiking club in Maine that has a hiking report published in the local paper, that is very helpful to read to see if you want to do that particular hike. I, also, like hiking. I need to get out more this summer! emoticon
