Recently, I have been working on a "digital" hiking journal. I thought to keep track of things it would be nice to document the various hikes I am (and will be) doing with the hiking club. While I was working on the journal, I also added info and pictures on other past hikes I have done. When I was working full time, I really didn't do much in the way of hiking which I now regret. I wish I would have made it more of a priority. It really is a wonderful uplifting way to spend time and gives you such an appreciation for nature. Hiking really feeds the soul. Here is a link (hopefully it will work) if you want to take a peek.
Awesome! I wholeheartedly agree! Hiking nurtures body, mind and spirit. We live next to a wilderness park and go out into it most days. Wonderful to take a break in the middle of the day and then come back refreshed. Thank you for sharing, Rhonda! Happy Valentine's Day! Sending you a big hug and gratitude for being in my life! 1314 days ago
Like your journal! I'm addicted to hiking. But aside from noting where and sometimes mileage in my calendar, I don't spend much time reviewing them. Nice that some people do!! 1314 days ago
That is so cool! I love that idea. I took a peek - great pics and journal. Not only is it good for you, but it is helpful to others. There is a hiking club in Maine that has a hiking report published in the local paper, that is very helpful to read to see if you want to do that particular hike. I, also, like hiking. I need to get out more this summer! 1314 days ago
I've enjoyed reading our blog and the hiking journal with photos really adds to it. I use to love day hiking and I have let work overtake all of my time and mind! Your photos were so refreshing. Thank you for sharing. 1314 days ago
