Well, I think our snow is finally gone for the year - at least, it is warming up some.

Just saw on Facebook that tomorrow is Peppermint Pattie Day!! That is one of our favorite candies and there is always a package in the freezer. Yes, I know, it is lots of sugar and fat - but they are very small - just a couple of bits - and do solve my sugar cravings!!

Had a good visit with Elaine today. Now that the snow and icy streets are a thing of the past - we can get back to our regular schedule: Mondays meet with other knitters, Tuesday at the DoNut Shop for our Bible study, Thursdays at the church for a time of prayer, and Fridays meet with a couple of other friends for more knitting!!

And hope to get outside more for walks. Have not walked outside for too long. My excuse is that I just do not want to fall! But I do have a walking stick that gives me more confidence - so even a short walk is better than done!!

almost done crocheting sock-yarn wool blend scarf (3 little skeins) I am going corner to corner making little box pattern - I had to start over 5 or 6 times because I couldn't figure out how to make it go "long" and look right on the diagonal.

We hit a high in the 60's today and lost 5 inches of snow. Unfortunately the weather is not going to hold. Winter is still here.
