Progress not perfection is what I remember from my 12-step meetings back 20 years ago. Spark People is helping me achieve progress on a daily basis. Little things I can do to be healthier: physically, emotionally, spiritually.

Logging into the website daily is something I can stay on top of. I remember years ago when that may have been the only good thing I did for myself on a difficult day. This is a great website to stay connected and in the solution.

Recording that I have consumed 8 glasses of water, tracked my food, attempted some exercise, journalled, tried to reach out, read something to enrich my mind....all are ways to keep taking small steps in the right direction.

I am struggling with plantar fascitis as of late...I may have mentioned that. It hurts and is not a fun thing to have. I am doing exercises to help it, I have a foot brace to stretch at night...just a difficult thing to deal with when I am a RN and on my feet over 12 hours during an average work day. Also, walking was an activity I always enjoyed but this stuff has taken that away from me. I have read some articles on this website that say it comes and goes...I am ready for it to go.

Just about all I have for today, praying for good things for everyone.

I certainly hope you get rid of the plantar fascitis soon. I love to walk to and my R.A. sometimes interferes with that.

One day at a time. I too have suffered from plantar fasciitis in the past. It is not fun and very frustrating. I had a desk job at the time and I remember sitting at my desk with my feet on ice packs. Hope you feel better soon.
