I am a bit behind on blogging this month. Even though I got sick and it lasted four weeks, I met all of my goals in January!


My goal was to eat 1450 calories or less with 75% accuracy. I met that goal 27/31 days this month, which is 87% accuracy!


This month I earned 2,430 fitness minutes. I had a good balance of strength training and cardio. And using my mom as an exercise buddy has been very helpful for both of us!


I lost four pounds last month I went from 169 to 165. I also took measurements on a day I felt a little bloated. The results were a little demoralizing.

Weight: 166.0
Bust: 39.5" +0.5"
Bicep: 13.5" +1.0"
Waist: 34" +2.0", the highest it has ever been
Hips: 40" +0.5"
Thigh: 25" +1.0"
Calf: 15" +0.5"

Next time should be better!

emoticon I usually my daily goals of reading the Bible ten minutes and eating only (no more than) one dessert. I need to work on making the bed in the morning though.


My top accomplishments . . . no spending beyond expenses this past month.

My top challenges . . . trying to recover after hitting rock bottom (in terms of morale).

Greatest insight . . . I have the power to heal myself through healthy practices and activities I enjoy. Unhappiness is to some degree a choice.

Where to spend more time . . . cleaning and organizing my clutter; outdoors; creating meaningful memories.

Where to spend less time . . . technology.

Places I visited . . . mostly at home sick, but did visit the rental property Dad is fixing.

Movies I loved . . . no movies, but enjoyed the series Narcos and Vikings.

Amazing people I met . . . Dr. Klaben and her great life advice on the power of positive thinking.
