Winter 5% Challenge - Week 3 Review

This week was decidedly better than the week before, food wide. I DID go over on Thursday. (Thursday seems to be my day?) But a loss happened, so I'm pleased. In fact, I got 2nd place in weight loss!



Here are my numbers:



All in all I did really well I think. If you recall, I'm doing a metabolic reset so I'm eating as close to maintenance as possible. I'm not gaining crazily so I must be doing something right. Maybe this will be what I need to get back closer to goal.

Still not trying very hard to do the No Evening Eating Challenge. Yesterday I was out running around all day so didn't snack at all. I also ran in the morning and did an upper body strength workout in the afternoon. By dinner time I had 810 calories left to reach THE BOTTOM of my range, after I had tracked dinner. And I'm sorry, if I'm not hungry, I'm not eating just to make that challenge. It seems silly. So no badge there.



This week is sleep and NEE, so I'll focus on sleep. I'd say that shouldn't be difficult, but I've been having trouble staying awake until 9 at night. Last night I conked out at 9:30 and woke up at 4:30. I was sort of in and out of conscioussness until the alarm went off at 6, but I'm tired today.

I'm also in what I call "Inward Mode". I don't want to be social. I want to be home, alone, reading my book. Now I'm definitely an extrovert, but I sometimes just go through phases where I withdraw. Right now I'm reading The Fireman by Joe Hill for my sci fi book club and really enjoying it!
