Today is going well!

I'm having a good day today! I've been making a habit to get 2 glasses of water (1 really tall glass!) of water before I head out for the day, around 12 for school days, 1 or 2 on non school days. Today I managed 3 glasses! I'm really proud of that; that's been really rough for me. I am finding that as I drink more water, my taste for sugary drinks is decreasing again.
My knee is all healed again. Horray! I was thinking how I saw this huge jump in weight and inches when I started walking my son the 3 miles to and from school, so today I added another mile. A half mile when I drop him off, a half on the way back. I'm feeling it already! It's possible that the half mile might be all the addition I should be doing; I'll see how I feel at pickup time.
My son, who's 3 now, (When did that happen??) wants to run run run everywhere. He got me to run a little bit, but I mostly did some interval walking on the way to school. The stroller doesn't handle bumps well, and I am so NOT up for running 3 miles! I can WALK a 5K without too much trouble, but running? I don't think so! Maybe someday.
I still hit my Starbucks while Nate has been in school, but I'm officially downgrading to a grande, and a drink with less sugar. Like I said, my taste for sugar is decreasing, but I still need my soy, so I've been experimenting. Chai tea bags brewed with hot soy is pretty good.
