I know I'm a little late, but I have been sick. And it took a long time to edit the pictures to make us look good! We are not exactly a photogenic crew. Here goes nothing!
We always attend a Christmas Eve candlelight service at our church. It is the most formal event of the year, and probably my favorite church service too.
Mom and Dad
Mom and me
Dad and me
Our first attempt at a family picture. "A" for effort?
The presents ... some of them
My gift to Dad. And I tricked him into a decent smile too!
A gift for Mom. We love Bath & Body Works 3-wick candles!
A few of me
Dad and I agreed to look ridiculous
Dad making funny faces. And he always has to wear bows and ribbons. It's tradition!
Trying to look innocent. Hmmmmm . . . .
Throughout these pictures you might notice pillows, blankets, and other messes. Dad was grumping about hurrying up with opening presents and things weren't moving quickly enough. Finally Mom had enough! She began to whip him with a Christmas ribbon!
THE GRAND FINALES
For Daddy ... he picked out this pair of running shoes himself. His goal is to run 500 miles this year, or about 10 per week. He is ahead of schedule!
My favorite picture of him from the whole set!
For Mom . . . he went to Jared's!
And I accidentally cropped her head out of the frame. But my favorite picture of her from this set!
For me . . . they got me a tablet. I was surprised!
A belated merry Christmas from the Prot family!
Attempt #1 - meh
Attempt #2 - well this is as good as it gets!
That's all, folks!
