Chewing Gum aids in weightloss

Chewing Sugar Free gum can help reduce cravings for sweets. I chew gum whenever I find myself getting hungry or shall I say craving sugar. I find that chewing gives me a sense of eating without actually eating. Therefore, helping me to lower my calorie intake.
Some people say chewing gums stimulates their appetite. We are all different so if it does stimulate your appetite, try drinking water instead. Some of the gums I chew are flavored like ice cream, chocolate mint for instance is my favorite. I also chew gum after eating my last meal for the day. It keeps me from going back for seconds. I chew gum when I'm watching a movie, reading a book or working on the computer. It keeps me from eating out of boredom. Chewing gum wont take the place of overeating, but it will help minimize the cravings. I like to snack and most times my snacks aren't fat free or 100 calories, so I choose to chew sugar free gum. Extra brand comes in so many wonderful flavors, watermelon, etc. Its also an inexpensive way to cut calories , at Wal-Mart it cost about $2.00 for a 3 pack package. I lost 5lbs in 5 days, by not eating sugary snacks. I didn't do any extra exercises, just cut back on my sugar intake. I omitted the extra sugar I usually put in my coffee, omitted sugary snacks and condiments, omitted white bread products and sugary fruits and vegetables (carbs). Yes, if you didn't know, fruits such as red grapes, bananas, watermelon, to name a few are loaded with sugar. Although its natural sugar, it can slowly put extra pounds on you. Vegetables like corn, white potatoes and sweet peas turn into sugar in the bloodstream. Remember chewing more means eating less, and we all know Less is best.
