I'm coming off a week where I had something going on every single night. It was a lot to handle. I was going to say manage, and I'm not sure that's the right word. I did say no alcohol for me at any of these events- I don't drink much and I just felt that I didn't need an extra glass of wine or two a night this week to add into the calories. It was fine- water with a lemon to me is a perfect beverage.
I have to say I'm absolutely delighted to have almost nothing on the schedule this weekend. I have a lunch date with a friend today (our favorite restaurant is closing after 20 something years!!!!), and then I'm free! Tonight we have nothing going on, same with tomorrow night and all of Sunday until we host a curator and artist for dinner on Sunday night.
I'm going to the winter famers market on Saturday morning to pick up my monthly meat CSA box, then coming home and plotting out some awesome meals for the week. Our freezer is pretty out of control, and it's time to start using up some of what we lovingly call "inventory" lol Next week is a week mostly of dinners at home, and for that I'm thankful. The calm before the proverbial storm.
I'm also going to spend a lot of the weekend getting some planning done on my election. I need to refine my timeline and get the target points solidified. One foot in front of the other, right?
So, yesterday in conversation, honey said that he wanted to try to do some yoga. I have a subscription to a yoga place near the house which is really good. I found a level 1 class on both Saturday and Sunday, and I think we're going to try out the Sunday class. It would be great if we put that into our rotation of things we enjoyed together!
