One heck of a day...

Thursday, January 19, 2017

It was been one heck of a day! One meeting after another and my laptop is having MAJOR issues. Looks like I will need to replace it as it is a must for my job.

Thankfully I had a nurse for my daughter for 12 hours today... that helped tremendously as my husband is out of town and I had to do the whole Mom Taxi thing with my other two kids today too. I was able to squeeze in an hour long Pilates class while the nurse was here, so that was a plus. My hips are extremely tight due to surgery. It is going to take a lot of flexibility and stretching to get them back again.

I have been trying to remind myself of the progress I have been making because the downside to my extremely busy day was my eating... It wasn't that great. I didn't get into sugar and total crap food, but I did skip lunch and ended up eating a Luna Bar instead. And then another for a snack. So not that great, but I guess it could have been a lot worse too. I did dream of having a couple glasses of wine to unwind, but reminded myself I am doing so well and not to mess with it. emoticon

Hoping tomorrow is an easier day!

I agree with DIMAGGIOT, life is not always perfect. So easy to give into having the wine to unwind. My hubby and I started a "Dry January" on January 8th and will probably run it out until February 9th when we have a Beer Pairing dinner. We make exceptions if we have an outing planned - only one so far. After our February dinner we'll re-evaluate and see how we want to manage it. It sure saves calories and $$. Glad you were able to have a nurse for the day and get class in - sorry about the laptop woes. Those are always a pain.
