I lost six pounds!

It's probably closer to four, since I weighed myself with clothes on in the doctor's office last week and I was quite stitchless when I weighed this morning, but still that's over my goal and nicely gratifying. For this next week, I won't be bringing down my on-the-high-side calorie count, and next week I'll remind myself that the one half pound a week goal might look like the same weight I am now when I step on the scale. I still don't know if I'll exercise a little more. I hope I can.
