Today we are iced in! The snow is starting to melt but is leaving a sheet of ice. Just talked to my daughter and she was watching a truck do a 180 in front of her house. And she said there was even ice in their mud room.

So will be knitting and doing Bible study today - Also sewing on the quilt for my son. Just waiting for more material i ordered from the Missouri Quilt Co. Love their "stuff". Just hope tho that the mailmen do not have to get out in this. We can certainly wait another day for our mail to keep them safe.

Great looking socks !! You do such good work. emoticon I tried socks once, but they were hard for me. I much prefer bigger things like throws, afghans and bedspreads. I do sweaters once in a while too, along with the obligatory slippers, scarves and hats. You are very talented !! You look as if you had a bit more snow than we did, but 8 or 12 inches cripples Portland. emoticon We dealt with the ice too in the beginning of this mess, now we are thawing out and having flooding problems loom. This last storm missed us, but hit the Gorge pretty hard as freezing rain turning to ice. I hope that you are safe during the thaw. I know the ice on the trees and the roads makes for dangerous conditions outside. emoticon Take care and God bless, Deb emoticon emoticon

Brrrrrrr! Oh, just brrrrrrrrrr! Looks so cold! Glad you have a warm place where you can be safe, and not have to go out in that nasty ice!

The rain is washing away most of the snow in our yard and from our roof. We had over 24 inches of snow. The fields are still white despite the rain. It started raining last night and so far our pond is up almost 3 inches! It won't take long with this snowmelt and new rain until our rivers will be flooding.

    Stay inside and keep warm!

Well those socks are very nice. I'm sure you made them for someone else, but if not they'll keep your feet and legs toasty warm. I haven't seen snow in 6 years looks very cold. Hugs Lesley
