Monday, January 09, 2017

I am pretty much finished with losing weight - it feels strange. I thought I would feel more elated, but it's not really like that. While I think I'll go for another 5 pounds - to 135 - both to give me breathing room and because that's where I think I belong - I'm now going to have to figure out both how to motivate myself to exercise & how to eat to stay within a 5 pound range ...

Well done on getting to where you want to be. Don't slacken off too soon though. Lost weight has a sneaky way of finding you again, if you don't take care.

Congratulations! Enjoy the accomplishment. Maintenance is definitely a different skillset. Have you considered the 'At Goal & Maintaining, & Transitioning to Maintenance' Team (you can link from my page)? They area great, supportive team with lost of practical and helpful experience to offer.

Just stay with it my dear, or else you'll find yourself looking at 8 lbs gained, and you'll wonder, "How the heck did that happen so fast?" I speak from experience. But big emoticon on being in Maintainance. It's a new game now!:)

Way to go! Maintenance is no joke; in some ways it's harder than full-on losing. Be patient with yourself when you stumble, but hang onto the tools you've learned how to use. And don't lose that focus! You've still got this!
