Sparkblog 1/2/2017 Happy New Year!

Monday, January 02, 2017

Another year is past and it's time to look forward to this year. Yesterday I went to the Y and worked out in the pool for 90 minutes. It was Not crowded at all, I figure that the usual January crowd will be rolling in pretty soon, though. It is always more crowded in January, from my experience.

A couple years ago I had a kitty that was so energetic that he leaped on a high chest of drawers and onto my bird cage, which set my little zebra finch loose. It took a while but I got the bird back and found a relative to take the kitty, who was named Batman.

My birds have all gone to heaven and just recently, Batman came back to live with me, as my relative could no longer care for him.

This is batman.

He is now learning to get along with Ollie, who sees himself as the big boss of the house, (sorry Ollie, but you have to get used to him)

This is Ollie.

So, they can only be together if they are being supervised. Meaning Ollie goes in a back bedroom with Little Miss Kitty during the day when I am at work.

This is little Miss Kitty and Miss Kitty.
Miss Kitty went outside and then went missing, ( my mean neighbor may have took her away - there always is that one neighbor who hates animals). Little Miss Kitty is bigger now than in the pic, I think she is the sister of missing Miss Kitty.

My three cats , my grandson and I are starting the new year together.

Wishing all my Sparkfriends a Happy New Year!

It's awesome that you got in some good exercise time yesterday. I'm bummed about miss kitty. I hope she finds her way back home.
