Day 87 - 100 Days of Gratitude

Monday, January 02, 2017

For New Year's Day I am grateful to have remembered at the beginning of the day a Saying that whatever you do on New Years Day, you'll be doing the rest of the year. I take that as way of "activating" a resolution -- "I resolve to.... this year, and I'm starting it today!"

So I did some things in the house I had procrastinated doing; I went to a New Year's brunch at a co-worker's home (and now I look forward to reciprocating with a dinner invitation); I called old friends and family members to check on them and wish them well for the new year. I stayed happy all day.
