New Year's Eve

Well, this is it, everyone! New Year's Eve. We wish fair thee well to the old year, and say hello to what lies ahead. So I went back to the my stats and blogs for the beginning of the year. I started the year weighing in at 228. I now weight 224. What those numbers DON"T say is how I lost weight, gained it back, and dropped it again. Same with inches. I went back and reread some of my blogs from January through March. What I see is a woman who's defeated. Defeating herself. I was stuck in the upper 230s for quite awhile, it seems. (I had forgotten that!) I had lots of off track days this year, but alot of on-track days too. I didn't make any goals for 2016, it seems.
My goal for 2017 is to be down to 174 by next new years. That is my loosing 1 lb a week. I set that with the idea that I'll get stuck some weeks, or loose more. I WILL do this!
Another goal is to do 5 minutes of yoga a day. Not a huge amount of time.
I will also reduce my time on Facebook. It's really a time suck, and I need all the free time I can get!
I will practice my flute 3x a week for at least 5 minutes. Baby steps, right? I'm still learning the basics of it, so that sounds like a good start!
I will also cook a meal at least once per week. I'm not much of a cook so this is a great goal, and also supports all of the other ones except for the flute.
