I am still kicking although slower and with less strength.

It has been so very long since I've been on Spark People. A lot has happened in my life. In 2013 I became quite ill. Ended up in the hospital for a month. Had e Coli sepsis. I actually came very close to death. Anyway as it turned out I lost kidney function and in June of 2013 I was put on dialysis. I had no idea what end stage renal disease (ESRD) was before that time. I was very lucky to have turned 65 in November so I had medicare and my supplemental to pay the medical bills. Then in December of 2015, I sold my house in Redwood Valley, CA and moved to Sacramento, CA. I am registered with UC Davis for a kidney transplant, all my doctors are At UC Davis now. It is a wonderful life if you don't weaken. One step at a time and one foot in front of the other. That's all for now. There is more to say but I am going to limit my time so I don't spend all day on the computer. emoticon
