So... back in July, somewhere on the road between Matthews MO and Jonesboro AR I mislaid my SPAT. It was in my pocket when we stopped for dinner, and no longer on my person when we got to our destination. As SP no longer offered it for sale, I had to daydream about upgrading to something else... Which brings us to Christmas. Jonathan asked me what i wanted so I forwarded him the running list I kept on my phone. A yoga mat. A heating pad. A Misfit or something similar. Simple stuff that I want to help me work on me. I got my mat, plus a bag and grippy gloves and socks because he knows I'm rather klutzy. *lol* A crazy huge fuzzy turbo heating pad that vibrates and has a pillow and all the bells and whistles. AND... my Misfit. I'd pointed out what I wanted to him while we were out and about so he knew exactly what I wanted... and this thing is freakin' sweet.
It tracks my sleep, telling me when I'm restful and when I'm light... and tattles on me when I'm fully awake.
"Look, honey, there's where I bugged out to the sofa when the snoring hit a crescendo! Love you!"
It buzzes me awake so I can be quiet and stealthy instead of blaring bagpipes in the morning. No, seriously, Steam Train to Mallaig by Tartanic is my alarm tone. It's loud enough to wake me up, and starting my day with bagpipes really gets me going. *lol* MUSIC OF THE ANGELS I TELL YA.
It alerts me to texts and calls, tells the time, lets me wear it wherever I want, lights up and buzzes once an hour to tell me to get off my ass and move about if I've been sitting too long... oh, and it tracks my steps and activities. *lol* Duh. It's crazy fun to watch it light up like a Christmas tree when I hit 10,000. :) I've got it linked to SP so it also helps me log my activity times and I end up effortlessly earning points, which is pretty damn spiffy.
I'm actually glad I lost my SPAT. *snort*
SO ANYWHO... in other news, I've been off my PCOS meds for over a month now. Still got a period, if five days late. Got my teeth mostly repaired and will be going in to see an oral surgeon about the broken molar and lower wisdom teeth next month. My hair is a rather unreasonable amount of silver for my age, IMHO. I turned 35 a couple weeks ago; still look 23 and act 17... if I don't gain some form of X-Men mutant abilities ala Storm with this sudden surge of silver hair I'm going to feel seriously cheated. :D
