Getting a baseline

So, today it was time to break out the tape measure. I've always found it vital to have more than the scale to go by, especially since it varies so much. In fact, I was up 3 pounds since yesterday.I don't fret the scale. 'Official' day at the scale is Monday for me, but I check it almost every day. No big surprises with the tape. It's interesting to see how things shift around. Some measures were up a bit, others were down. If I add them all up, it's about the same as the last time I measured. No real surprise there.
Today's vital stats, until I figure out which ones are most important for me to track on the blog:
Steps yesterday: 4,669 (disappointing)
Sleep: six hours, fitful
New thing for today: I'm taking a fitness band to work with me. IT has a room that no one but us uses, and I can spend time there on my lunch break. With abundant access to computers in the room, I'm going to pull up one of Coach Nicole's workout videos and make better use of that time.
