LAST DAY - Core de Force, day 30

Wednesday, December 28, 2016

I rocked the last day of this round of Core de Force! Today's workout was 63 minutes: MMA Plyo and Core Kinetics. I will post my measurements either this evening or tomorrow, whenever I have time.

I am EXTREMELY proud of myself for completing the 30 day program. I knew the Christmas holidays coming towards the end of the round would be a challenge, but wasn't counting on my SO scheduling his very difficult foot surgery right before Christmas. That threw me off even more. But I only got one day behind schedule and got to flex my adaptability skills. (I'm kidding there. I'm not all that flexible - I tend to be pretty rigid. So it was a good challenge for myself mentally, to have to adapt to what all was going on.)

I plan to take a week off and do some different workouts, then start another round of Core de Force. I'm looking forward to the break from the rigid schedule and maybe having one actual rest day. I'm tired, not so much from the program, but mentally and physically from the post-surgical activities. We had a few bad days, and aside from that, he's just now starting to get up and move around more. Add to that what wonderful patients men tend to be, and you get my drift here. haha

(Yes, that was a sexist generalization, AND a joke. Kind of. If every single one of my friends and every other woman I've ever met are any indication, this stereotype exists for a reason.)

Note: Core de Force is a BeachBody program. If you have questions, I know an independent BB coach who can answer questions, give you guidance, and help you order what you need. (She is NOT into the hard sell, just wants to help others succeed.) Holler and I'll hook you up with her.

Yes, we all know what wonderful patients men are, lol. Hey you are awesome, you got through it all anyway, even with the distractions and taking care of your man.
