Next to last day - Core de Force, day 29
Tuesday, December 27, 2016
Today was Active Recovery day. 21 minutes, half technique practice and half stretching, all nice and slow.
I took my SO to Lubbock to have his post-surgical splint removed (praise the Lord) and his first cast put on. Doc said both incisions look great. He goes back in 3 weeks to have the cast removed, the stitches taken out, and another cast put on. Getting rid of the splint and getting the rigid cast made a huge difference. He's so much more comfortable! He also got a nifty knee scooter, which is much easier to use than the crutches. So Jim is a pretty happy camper this evening! We got some water-tight bags for his cast, so tomorrow evening he's going to have a real shower. He's excited about that!
Tomorrow is my last day of Core de Force - this round, anyway. I'm planning to do something else for the rest of the week, then will probably start another round. I'm happy so far, can't wait to measure my progress!
Note: Core de Force is a BeachBody program. If you have questions, I know an independent BB coach who can answer questions, give you guidance, and help you order what you need. (She is NOT into the hard sell, just wants to help others succeed.) Holler and I'll hook you up with her.
