Back in the saddle - Core de Force, day 25

Friday, December 23, 2016

I got my workout done late this morning, but it's done for today. It included Dynamic Strength (that one I dislike with all the pushups) and 5 Minute Core on the Floor. After far too little sleep last night, it was a struggle. But I did it all.

Of course, I had barely finished, dressed in sports bra, shorts and knee supports, dripping sweat with my hair straggling out of a half-assed ponytail... and the doorbell rang. Jim was napping (also sleep deprived) in the living room, so I raced to the front door to answer it. There stood a male acquaintance of ours who had brought homemade treats for Jim to enjoy, and to check on him after his surgery. I rushed him out, both because Jim was trying to finally sleep, and because I was half dressed! Ugh. I apologized later for seeming rude.

Side note: the doorbell woke Jim up, but because there was fudge involved, he wasn't even mad about it. emoticon emoticon

So I'm back on track with my program, just a day behind. Rock on!

Note: Core de Force is a BeachBody program. If you have questions, I know an independent BB coach who can answer questions, give you guidance, and help you order what you need. (She is NOT into the hard sell, just wants to help others succeed.) Holler and I'll hook you up with her.

Guess it would be hard to be mad when someone has brought you fudge, lol. Hope Jim was able to get back to sleep. You probably didn't look as bad as you thought you did, I guess none of us wants to open the door when we don't feel presentably. Awesome job of getting in that exercise, you are so committed to your program.

    Happy Christmas Eve!

How kind of your friend. I was working out once when someone showed up at my door... The worst! LOL

Oh, I don't like looking like something the cat dragged in when I answer the door either! Our poor UPS guy has seen me at my absolute worse too! He is always so nice though! LOL

Good job getting right back on track too!!! emoticon

That's a funny story. Of course, who can be mad when there's fudge involved?! emoticon
Great job getting that workout in despite being sleep deprived.
