Jeanne, I've been seeing on Reddit that even men's sizes are being vanity-sized now! Like, an inch is no longer an inch! Capitalism is happy to cater to our delusions if it lets us open our wallets! 968 days ago
I find shopping frustrating enough as it is and having to deal with the crazy sizing makes it all the more challenging. Why size anything? Seriously. Just put the measurements on them like men's clothing.
True sizing still doesn't deal with the images and societal expectaions placed on women about what is and is not considered desirable or beautiful. When I was growing up I remember young boys being obsessed with girls measurements and what they considered to be the "pefect" measurements. So, the issue runs deeper than sizing. 968 days ago
