Here's a desperate Plea

I am going to slink in here for a moment. I am having a little bit of trouble staying consistent. I use being 50 as an excuse for everything (btw I'm 54 LOL) Why is my WANT not working? I want to be vibrant, I want to be healthy and have my energy back. I use the saying "If you do the same thing everyday, you get the same results" My day consists of waking up just in the nick of time to get ready for work, work 8 hours as an executive assistant, home and then usually the till bath time and bed around midnight. Any words of wisdom for me? A kick in the pants? anything? I AM a joyfilled person, I know it doesn't sound like it, but I hate my lifestyle. My husband and I are on a vicious cycle.
Looking for some gentle instruction.

    Get the number out of your head. As a youngster, I decided never to let chronology dictate to me. Age is irrelevant.

    Get up from your seat in front of the television and walk in place. Start with the segment from one commercial group to another, then make it longer; or do ten minutes every other program. emoticon

    This is my 2nd time with this app. I also am struggling. My story is so crazy. 3 yrs ago i lost 46 pounds. I've gained 20 back in the past 6 months! My hubby of 30 yrs and i almost called it quits and i spiraled. Can't get back on track....

    Might it be possible to get a half hour of walking in during your lunch hour? I find when I can squeeze walking in during lunchtime it makes the whole rest of the day go smoother, including not feeling as drained when I get home from work. Also, a ten minute walk after dinner helps to light the metabolism fire just a bit. emoticon

    Try going to bed 1/2 hour earlier and getting up 1/2 earlier, until that's easy. Then start bedtime snother1/2 hour earlier and arise 1/2 hour earlier. And stick in a fun excercise DVD for 1/2 hour at night. Small changes to work towards your goals.

    In my 50's I always took time for me. In my 70's and still doing it for me. Make time now so you can enjoy life to the fullest. You are very important

    Turn off the tv and go walking quality time and exercise as well as relaxing
